President’s Report
The

organization. He noted things are running smoothly as a result of the early work
done by the group.
Status of
the 2008 treatment – The treatment will take place June 26 and will cost $7,530.
The Town’s portion is in the 07/08 budget and the President worked with the town

Town voting rights were clarified – property owners need not be registered
voters in Lebanon to vote on the budget and other town matters. The lake was
surveyed June 6 and people were requested to mark milfoil and/or call the
president regarding milfoil locations prior to the treatment.

Committee Reports
-
Communication – the new
website is up at Lakewilliams.com. Jim Smith donated the site and Paul Cote
works with him to keep it updated. A suggestion was made to add a fishing page
to display pictures. There is currently a wild life page. Paul is working on
the next newsletter and articles or ideas for articles are welcome. A
suggestion was made to research the feasibility of being able to accept
electronic membership payments via the web site. Jim Smith, Paul Cote and
Richard Lesh
will explore further.
-
Membership – There are
currently 77 members, 7 donations and 4 newsletter ads.
-
Fundraising – Membership dues
have been covering the cost of treatment so no additional fund raising is
planned at this time.
-
Care Fishing – Money was
approved by the Board to support the program but we are unsure if
Lenny Tubbs
can conduct a program this year due to his schedule.
-
Water Quality -The first
sampling is usually completed in July. Last summer’s results were good. There
was an algae bloom last week. Reminder to pump out septic tanks, not use

state-wide program at no cost to the Association.
-
Town Meeting Monitoring – No
